On Babek Avenue, drivers risk getting into an accident

Capital drivers faced a serious problem on one of the roads. In the Nizami district, on Babek Avenue, a large pothole has formed, creating a threat to motorists. Some are trying to bypass the dangerous section, which increases the risk of accidents.

The cause of the hole could be recent repair work on the water pipeline and subsequent asphalting. The intensified snowfall only worsened the situation, and in the dark, driving becomes even more dangerous, drivers note.

However, this is not the only problem with road surfaces in the capital. In the Khatai district, on November 8 Avenue, opposite the "Ganjlik" park, cracks have appeared on a recently repaired section of the highway.

The press service of the State Agency for Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan stated that the damaged section on Babek Avenue will be repaired in the near future. As for the cracks on November 8 Avenue, specialists will conduct an inspection to determine their causes and take measures to eliminate the defects.
