New roads to be constructed in Baku - ADDRESSES

Large-scale road reconstruction and new construction projects are planned in Baku and adjacent territories.

As Baku.ws reports, these projects, covering 2025-2030, will contribute to improving traffic efficiency, safety levels, and traffic flow optimization.

The construction and commissioning of these roads is planned as a joint effort of several state institutions. The implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects will significantly ease traffic flow in Baku, make traffic rules enforcement more effective, and lead to significant progress in the capital's road infrastructure.

Roads to be completed in 2025-2026:

Bilgah-Novkhany-Khirdalan Road - This road will extend from the 16th kilometer of the Baku-Russia border road to the 18th kilometer of the Baku-Shamakhi road.

20 January interchange improvement - New connections will be created to reduce congestion.

Academician Hasan Aliyev Street - road to Keroglu metro station - Part of this road will be built and commissioned.

Improving Khirdalan city's connection with main roads - Exit from Khirdalan to Baku-Guba and Baku-Shamakhi roads will be facilitated.

Improving access to Ziya Bunyadov Avenue - The transition from A.Salamzade Street to this avenue will become more convenient.

Reconstruction of the interchange on M-1 Baku-Guba road and Khirdalan circle (VAZ circle) - Traffic flow at the Khirdalan circle will be improved.

Road safety inspections (audits) - Safety on Baku-Guba and Baku-Alat roads will be checked and necessary adjustments made.

Works to be completed in 2025-2030:

Binagadi-Novkhany Highway - A new road will be built.

Ring road between Sabunchi and Sulutepe - A new road will be built between these two settlements.

Road connecting Baku Ring-1 and Ziya Bunyadov Avenue - More convenient communication will be created.

Mehdiabad-Baksol-Ziya Bunyadov Road - A new highway will be constructed.

Road connecting Yusif Safarov Street and Babek Avenue with Khatai Avenue - Additional bridges will be built.

Tunnel and ring road on Muhammad Khiyabani Street - The road interchange will be reconstructed here.

New road interchange at the intersection of Tbilisi Avenue-Academician Hasan Aliyev-Shafayat Mehtiyev Street - There will be a new tunnel and road connections.

New road overpass between M-4 Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway and Khirdalan - An exit from central Khirdalan to the Baku-Shamakhi road will be created.
