UN issued a statement regarding tensions between Azerbaijan and Russia

UN is aware of growing tensions between Russia and Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the representative of the head of the international organization Stephane Dujarric at a press conference, the recording of which was published on the UN website.
"We are aware of the growing tensions between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, accompanied by incidents in both countries. We hope that everything can be resolved through diplomatic channels and that freedom of journalistic activity will be ensured," he noted.
On June 27, in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, security forces conducted raids against Azerbaijanis. Two people were killed, and several others were injured. Some media reported about 50 detainees.
