Azerbaijan handed Russia a note of protest in connection with the events in Yekaterinburg
On July 1, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AR) to the Russian Federation (RF) Rahman Mustafayev presented a note of protest during a meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry building to the opposite side regarding the gross violation of law in Yekaterinburg, the murder and brutal beating causing injuries to our compatriots, among whom were citizens of both Azerbaijan and Russia.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the foreign policy department of Azerbaijan.
The note also expressed strong protest against the use of torture and degrading actions by Russian law enforcement agencies during the interrogation of our compatriots.
