Ministry of Internal Affairs began investigation of illegal demolition of residential buildings in Baku

In Baku, footage has spread showing the demolition of residential houses by a construction company at 118B Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, First Alatava area in the Yasamal district.

During the demolition using an excavator, houses where people were living were destroyed.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that an investigation into the incident is being conducted based on an appeal received by the territorial police authority:

"The demolition was suspended, and a representative of the construction company was invited to the police station. The investigation is currently ongoing."
