Workers of "Dalga Beach" cannot receive their salaries

Employees of the restaurant "Dalga Beach" found themselves in a difficult situation - dozens of workers cannot receive their wages for several months. Some have been waiting for their money for 3 months, others - for 4-5 months.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xəzər Xəbər, about 50 employees of the establishment are complaining about non-payment of wages. The restaurant management constantly postpones resolving the issue, giving employees empty promises.

The affected employees claim that all this time they were told about the existence of employment contracts, but after dismissal they discovered that they had been working unofficially, without proper documentation. According to the complainants, the restaurant is currently not functioning, and it is not possible to contact the management.

Journalists tried to contact Emin Ibadov, whom the citizens are complaining about, but the calls remained unanswered. Other responsible persons were also unavailable for comment.

The State Labor Inspectorate, which was contacted by representatives of Xəzər Xəbər, emphasized that labor relations can only be established on the basis of an employment contract. Persons hired to work without concluding an employment contract risk losing their labor, social and economic rights in the future. The conclusion of an employment contract is a mandatory and necessary condition for protecting the rights of both the employee and the employer.

Lawyers, who were also contacted by journalists, reported that persons hired to work without an employment contract and who have not received wages have the right to file a lawsuit in the appropriate court for compensation of material and moral damage against the employer.
