Ministry of Health made an address to the population

The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan has addressed the population ahead of holidays and weekends, urging to take measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, reports BAKU.WS.
The ministry's statement notes that in spring, against the background of unstable weather, an increase in respiratory diseases, including seasonal flu, is expected.
"This year, the holidays of Novruz and Ramadan coincide, which will lead to mass events. In addition, many people observe fasting, which affects the diet. Excessive food consumption during iftar and the combination of various products can affect the body," - the statement says.
In this regard, the ministry recommends using respiratory protection, observing hand hygiene in crowded places, monitoring nutrition and including vitamin-rich foods in the diet. It is also advised to adapt clothing to the changeable spring weather conditions.
