Large-scale demolition begins in Baku - Starting next month...

It is expected that the fourth stage of demolition in the area known as "Sovetskaya" will begin at the start of next month.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xezerxeber.az, real estate expert Elnur Farzaliyev notes that currently demolition works in Baku are being carried out in two forms. One is the acquisition of land for state needs, the other is the demolition of emergency buildings by the private sector with subsequent replacement with new ones.

According to the rules, from the moment their houses are demolished until they are provided with apartments in new buildings, citizens are paid rent and relocation expenses by the construction company. According to the expert, the upcoming demolition works will not proceed without affecting the market.

It should be noted that historical and architectural monuments will not be affected as part of the demolition works.
