Is it forbidden to take children to Hajj? - OFFICIAL ANSWER

The Muslim Board of Caucasus (MBC) has not received any official notifications about the ban on pilgrims taking children for Hajj.
The head of the MBC External Relations Department and leader of the electronic Hajj system Vusal Jahangiri commented on the situation in a conversation with APA.
"Recently, various rumors have been circulating regarding children's participation in Hajj. Indeed, relevant information was posted on the official portal of Saudi Arabia, however, these restrictions most likely apply to local residents. Azerbaijani pilgrims traditionally rarely take small children with them. According to our rules, accompaniment of children over 12 years old is allowed, however, we always warn parents about possible difficulties for the child during the pilgrimage"
