The appearance of a newborn in the family is not only a source of great joy but also a significant burden on the family budget. Caring for a baby requires purchasing many items - from clothes and diapers to food and medical supplies.

How much does it cost on average to maintain a newborn in our country?

Parents have different answers to this question. Some believe that the minimum monthly expenses range from 300 to 400 manats - including diapers, clothes, and food. Others emphasize that the amount can change each month depending on the age and needs of the child. In addition to regular expenses, it's often necessary to make large purchases - for example, a crib, stroller, and other essential items.

According to children's goods sellers, in the first month of a baby's life, expenses can reach from 1000 to 3500 manats - depending on the brand and quality of purchased goods. Subsequently, monthly expenses usually range from 200 to 500 manats.

Diaper prices vary from 14 to 70 manats depending on the package size. Clothing sets for newborns start at 36-40 manats, individual bodysuits - from 20 manats, bibs - from 9 manats, and socks can be found for 5-6 manats.

Among major purchases are cribs (from 200 manats), strollers (from 440 manats), feeding bottles (from 5 to 30 manats), baby food (from 20 manats per package). Accessories for mothers are also in demand: bags (from 100 manats) and water thermometers (from 8 manats).

Sellers note that the cost of goods is influenced by the country of manufacture. Most often, buyers prefer products from Turkey and European countries.
