Holiday stagnation: Baku markets are empty despite abundance of goods

There is a clear stagnation in the markets of Baku. Sellers note that despite the holiday, there are almost no buyers.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Xəzər TV, some traders said that in anticipation of the holidays, they brought in a significant amount of goods, but due to low demand, fruits and vegetables remain both on the counters and in storage facilities.

Notably, this situation has not affected prices - the cost of vegetables has remained at the same level.

According to sellers, the main part of the products comes from the regions of the country, and the share of imported fruits and vegetables in the markets is now relatively small.
