Fight in Azdrama: People's Artist Attacked

A conflict that escalated into a fight occurred behind the scenes at the Academic National Drama Theater (Azdrama).

Actors from the theater reported this to Qaynarinfo.

According to them, the incident happened during an artistic council meeting where they were discussing the issue of bringing in directors and actors from other theaters for productions. People's Artist Ali Nur criticized this practice, stating that Azdrama should not invite random outsiders. His words provoked a strong reaction, resulting in an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation - several actors attacked Ali Nur.

People's Artist Sabir Mammadov and theater director Ilham Askerov attempted to defuse the situation. They managed to remove the aggressively inclined participants from the hall.

According to sources, such an incident occurred at the theater for the first time in its 150-year history.

Ali Nur has already filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office. An investigation is currently underway.
