As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Qafqazinfo, the incident was recorded on March 18 at the "Otto" club, located in the Sabail district.

Notably, the student arrested in connection with the fight was released on the holiday. This decision was made by the Baku Court of Appeal the day before.

According to the case materials, Elvin, who is receiving distance education in Turkey, got into an argument with a stranger in the mentioned club and inflicted minor bodily injuries on him. After the incident, Elvin was detained by the police and, by decision of the Sabail District Court, was subjected to administrative arrest for 15 days.

His defender filed an appeal against the decision. From the statement, it became known that Elvin suffers from an oncological disease and needs chemotherapy. In addition, it was noted that this was the first administrative offense of this person.

The duty judge Javid Huseyn, holding a session on the holiday, replaced Elvin's 15-day administrative arrest with a fine of 300 manats. He was immediately released from the courtroom.
