Electronic cigarettes destroy the body: will vaping be banned in Azerbaijan?

The number of people seeking medical help with symptoms such as dry cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and weakness has increased.
According to specialists, this condition is more commonly observed among individuals who use electronic cigarettes. Vaping can cause the so-called "popcorn lung disease" (obliterative bronchiolitis, manifested by severe inflammation and narrowing of the terminal branches of the bronchial tree in the lungs - ed.).
Baku TV conducted a survey among vapers on this topic. Despite being aware of the harmful effects of vaping, they stated that they do not intend to give it up.
"I smoke every day. I know it's harmful, but I smoke anyway because I'm a student and I get nervous a lot," said an electronic cigarette user.
It should be noted that vaping is banned in 39 countries. In 82 countries, the sale of electronic cigarettes is strictly regulated.
Interestingly, is it possible to ban the sale of such a harmful product in our country?
"Strict prohibitions can lead to more serious consequences, such as the use of other substances. It is more appropriate to conduct educational work," believes deputy Mushfig Mamedli.
