Ali Asadov met with a World Bank delegation

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met on September 10 with a delegation from the World Bank (WB) headed by the WB Regional Director for the South Caucasus Roland Price.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was noted at the meeting that a long-term and effective partnership exists between our country and the World Bank.

It was emphasized that the projects jointly implemented over the past period have contributed to supporting the socio-economic development of our country.

It was noted that there are good opportunities for expanding cooperation in such areas as sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, water supply and water resources management, as well as in a number of other fields.

During the meeting, the prospects for developing a mutually beneficial partnership between the republic and the WB, as well as future joint projects, were discussed.

Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov participated in the meeting.
