Deputy: No country in the world has as many pharmacies as Azerbaijan

There are quite a lot of pharmacies in Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by the chairman of the Health Committee of Milli Mejlis Ahliman Amiraslanov.

The deputy noted that there are quite a lot of shortcomings in the pharmaceutical sector of the country.

"There is no country in the world that has as many pharmacies as Azerbaijan. During meetings with voters, we hear quite a lot of complaints about medicine prices, their availability, etc. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to hold special discussions on this issue together with the Ministry of Health, the State Agency for Mandatory Medical Insurance, and the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units.

True, we have had discussions on this matter, certain work has been done, but the complaints are not decreasing," he said.
