Azerbaijan is preparing a new state program to ensure food security

A new state program on ensuring food security is being developed in Azerbaijan.

As Report informs, this was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSAA) Balaragim Guliyev at the IV Agribusiness Development Forum in Baku.

According to him, the implementation of the first state program covering 2019-2025 is nearing completion: "The draft of the second state program will soon be submitted for public discussion in the country, with entrepreneurs and deputies of the Milli Mejlis."

Guliyev noted that new laws in this area are additionally being developed, along with a large number of regulatory and technical documents.
