Strategic Significance of ADEX 2026 and Securex Caspian

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on September 30 visited the Baku Expo Center to review the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX 2026 and the 15th International Exhibition "Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment" - Securex Caspian 2026.

As the newspaper "Caspiy" writes, the ADEX 2026 exhibition - the largest military-technological platform in the region - plays an important role in terms of showcasing modern military technologies and equipment, including the strength of Azerbaijan's defense-industrial complex.

Distinguished by high quality

"Strengthening defense capability and ensuring national security are among the priority areas of Azerbaijan's state policy," reads the address of the head of state to the participants of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX 2026 and the 15th anniversary International Exhibition "Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment" - Securex Caspian 2026.

As stated in the message, the defense industry of our country has today entered a qualitatively new stage and has significantly expanded its production capabilities.

At the same time, defense products manufactured at local enterprises not only hold an important place in equipping our Armed Forces but are also competitive in international markets. That is, our country's achievements in the field of defense industry serve not only to strengthen the military-technical potential of our country but also to deepen cooperation with friendly and partner states. Thus, the quality and reliability of our defense industry products are highly valued at the international level. The ADEX exhibition is of particular importance in terms of presenting the strength and potential of our country's defense-industrial complex to the international community.

As for Securex Caspian, held for the 15th time in Azerbaijan, it has also earned great authority as one of the specialized events where advanced technologies in the fields of security, safety, rescue and emergency management are demonstrated.

Record number of participants

A record number of companies participated in ADEX 2026. To demonstrate their achievements at this exhibition, 59 foreign delegations from 39 countries registered. It is quite noteworthy that several influential companies from the United States were present here for the first time. The brotherly nation of Turkey was most widely represented.

At Securex Caspian 2026, equipment for law enforcement, border, rescue, fire and special services, comprehensive security systems and promising technological solutions were demonstrated. A total of 277 companies from 30 countries participated in both exhibitions, and national pavilions of 14 states were established.
