Azerbaijan has begun demobilization of military personnel over 31 years old

In Azerbaijan, due to the reduction in conscription age, the demobilization of servicemen over 31.5 years old has begun.
As reported by Baku.ws, teleqraf.az was informed about this by informed sources.
It was noted that the demobilization process is being carried out across all Armed Forces.
Recall that on December 29 of last year, President Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to the Criminal, Migration and Administrative Codes, laws "On Public Health Protection," "On Military Service," "On Psychiatric Care," "On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization in the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "On Military Duty and Military Service."
According to the changes, conscripts will be considered male citizens of Azerbaijan aged 18 to 30 years who are registered or subject to initial military registration and have not completed compulsory military service.
Previously, the age limit was from 18 to 35 years.
Additionally, the maximum age for active military service in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan has been reduced from 36.5 to 31.5 years.
