A trial is being held for Armenians accused of committing war crimes

A trial is being held at the Baku Judicial Complex against persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the hearing is being held under the chairmanship of Judge Zeynal Agayev of the Baku Military Court.
Recall that charges have been brought against 15 people - Arkady Ghukasyan, Araik Harutyunyan, Bako Sahakyan, David Ishkhanyan, David Babayan, Leva Mnatsakanyan, Davit Manukyan, Garik Martirosyan, Melikset Pashayan, Davit Allahverdyan, Gurgen Stepanyan, Levon Balayan, Madat Babayan, Vasily Beglaryan and Eric Gazaryan. In accordance with the periods of participation in the criminal community, the defendants are charged under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan: 100 (planning and waging aggressive war), 102 (attack on persons or organizations enjoying international protection), 103 (genocide), 105 (extermination of population), 106 (slavery), 107 (deportation or forced resettlement of population), 109 (persecution), 110 (forcible detention of a person), 112 (deprivation of liberty in violation of international law), 113 (torture), 114 (mercenary activities), 115 (violation of laws and customs of war), 116 (violation of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts), 118 (military robbery), 214 (terrorism), 214-1 (financing of terrorism), 218 (creation of a criminal community (organization)), 228 (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, component parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices), 270-1 (threats to aviation security), 278 (violent seizure of power or violent retention of power, violent change of the constitutional order of the state), 279 (creation of armed formations or groups not provided for by legislation).
