Air tickets to Azerbaijan will become more affordable

Azerbaijan plans to expand the geography of international flights, increase their frequency, and make air tickets more affordable. More efficient use of the potential of regional airports is also envisioned.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the relevant measures are outlined in the State Program for Tourism Development in Azerbaijan for 2026-2030, approved by President Ilham Aliyev.

Under the program, it is planned to expand the network of direct air connections with foreign countries and increase the frequency of flights on existing routes.

In addition, the program envisions attracting new international flights to regional airports and encouraging the entry of budget airlines (low-cost carriers) into Azerbaijan.
