Kirkorov on the distressing incident: First time I've been roasted like this

Singer Philipp Kirkorov said that he feels well after the pyrotechnics incident at the Oktyabrsky Grand Concert Hall. His words were reported by the publication "StarHit".

On April twenty-fifth, Philipp Kirkorov received a burn during his performance. The musician was descending to the stage on a huge microphone when his jacket caught fire. The singer reported several times that he was burned, descended to the stage and went backstage. After changing his outfit, the artist continued the concert.

"This is the first time I've been roasted like that, yes. It's nothing, I survived. I didn't burn up. I'm like a Phoenix: sometimes I burn, sometimes I rise again. The main thing is that the audience didn't notice anything, and wounds heal," Philipp Kirkorov shared.

The singer assured that none of his team members were fired after the incident. At the same time, Kirkorov cited human error as the cause of what happened.

"Everything is fine. The main thing is that we performed two concerts. The audience didn't suffer from this. These things happen. It's human error, it just happened. It's an absurd circumstance, no one is to blame," said the artist.
