A singer and her manager were beaten up in Baku

Singer Pariyar Mammadova and her manager Islam Kamaloglu were physically attacked by two men in Baku.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the artist shared details of the incident on social media.

According to her, the incident occurred on the morning of August 14 near a shopping center located close to the "20 January" roundabout. Two unknown men began hurling obscene language at the singer. After her manager confronted them about their behavior, the men attacked and beat him.

When Pariyar Mammadova tried to intervene, the attackers struck her as well.

As a result, the singer and her manager sustained bodily injuries. Following the incident, the artist filed a report with the police.

In response to our editorial inquiry, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that a complaint had been filed with the police regarding the incident. Law enforcement officers identified the suspects and summoned them to the relevant territorial police department.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
