Famous singer tragically dies in Turkey

Famous singer Gülü died in Turkey.

The tragic news was announced by her son on social media, clarifying that the death occurred as a result of an accident, and rumors of suicide are not true.

According to relatives, the incident happened last night around 03:00 in the city of Çınarcık, where the artist had lived for a long time. Gülü was on the balcony of her sixth-floor apartment with her daughter and a friend when she suddenly felt unwell and fell down. Medics who arrived at the scene pronounced her dead on the spot.

The singer's son wrote: "We lost my mother, the valuable artist Gülü, as a result of a tragic accident tonight. Reports of suicide that have appeared on social media are false."

Gülü was one of the bright figures of the Turkish music scene in the 1990s, famous for her emotional songs and powerful voice.
