Trade representations of Azerbaijan in foreign countries will display the flag, coat of arms, and signboard

When Azerbaijan's foreign trade representative and their office are located outside the embassy or consulate, the flag, coat of arms, and signage will be displayed on the building or its premises.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the corresponding amendments to the "Regulation on the Trade Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Foreign Countries and Their Office."

According to the document, when Azerbaijan's foreign trade representative and their office are located outside the embassy or consulate, the State Flag of Azerbaijan is raised on the building or its premises in accordance with international treaties and regulatory legal acts supported by the country and the host state.

At the same time, a sign is displayed featuring a relief image of the State Coat of Arms of Azerbaijan and an inscription in the native language and the official language(s) of the host state reading "Trade Representative of Azerbaijan (for the country where the embassy or consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan is appointed — the name of the corresponding embassy or consulate, and for the country where there is no embassy or consulate — the name of the corresponding country)."
