In the mid-60s of the last century, a group of researchers and psychologists from Western countries studying the phenomenon of the rapid spread of National Socialist ideology in German society set out to study in more detail the speeches and written works of the main herald of this ideology, Joseph Goebbels. Hundreds of volumes of archival materials were examined, thousands of documents were analyzed. The scientists were interested in how such a great people as the Germans descended to the state of primitive Nazi bacchanalia and how to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is discussed in another analytical video material on the YouTube channel Caliber.Az.

The material is dedicated to one of the most resonant episodes of Nikita Mikhalkov's "Besogon" program. The authors thoroughly analyzed how behind the beautifully delivered speech, artistry, and outwardly "cultural" presentation lie ideological constructs in which culture becomes merely a shell for transmitting myths imbued with the spirit of a collapsed empire.

Special attention is paid to Mikhalkov's statements about his visit to Azerbaijan. During this visit, he requested a fee of 50,000 dollars from the hosting party, which he now keeps silent about. It was in Baku that Mikhalkov arranged a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev and during this meeting "accidentally" got in direct contact with Vladimir Putin. Today, this episode takes on a completely different context - especially after the latest "Besogon" featured unacceptable comparisons between the de-occupation of Karabakh and Russia's actions in Ukraine.
