Azerbaijan is today sending another batch of humanitarian aid to Iran to meet the current needs of the population of the friendly neighboring country.
The decision to send the aid was made following a telephone conversation between the presidents of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ilham Aliyev and Masoud Pezeshkian.
The humanitarian shipment includes various food products, medicines, and medical supplies totaling 200 tons.
Of these, 190 tons consist of food and food products, 7 tons are medicines, and another 3 tons are medical supplies.
The humanitarian aid is being transported on 10 trucks.
