Israel and Turkey established a "hotline" after negotiations in Azerbaijan

Israel and Turkey have reached an agreement to establish a special "hotline" to prevent conflicts and coordinate military actions in Syria.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Middle East Eye, the agreement was reached through the mediation of Azerbaijan during recent negotiations between representatives of the two countries.
According to the information, Turkey has proposed to deploy its ground forces in Syria, including armored vehicles and infantry, on the condition that no equipment capable of tracking Israeli air movements - particularly air defense systems and radar stations - will be placed at their positions. Israel, reportedly, does not object to this as long as it does not pose a threat to IDF operations.
Special attention during the negotiations was given to the area of the so-called "palm line" - referring to the zone adjacent to Syria's Palmyra. This region houses the T4 airbase, which was actively used in the past by the forces of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and served as part of a logistical corridor for weapons supplies to Hezbollah. Israel has repeatedly struck this base, considering it a strategic facility of its adversaries.
