Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Donald Trump

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to the President of the United States of America Donald Trump regarding the numerous human casualties resulting from a military helicopter collision with a passenger aircraft near Washington.

"Dear Mr. President,

We are extremely saddened by the news of the death of many people as a result of a collision between a passenger aircraft and a military helicopter near the city of Washington.

In connection with this tragedy, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the victims, and the friendly American people," the letter states.
