People's Artist of the Russian Federation Philipp Kirkorov was not urgently hospitalized, contrary to information spread by some media outlets. The popular performer is currently undergoing planned medical procedures after a burn received during a concert performance.

The artist's representative Ekaterina Uspenskaya, in a conversation with TASS, firmly denied the information about an emergency hospitalization, which was previously spread by the Telegram channel Mash. The channel claimed that the singer allegedly needed urgent surgical assistance.

"No, he was not hospitalized, but he is under doctors' supervision," Uspenskaya explained. According to her, Kirkorov is receiving necessary medical procedures, including dressing changes.

The artist's representative confirmed that the treatment is related to a burn that Philipp Kirkorov received during an April concert in St. Petersburg. At that time, during a pyrotechnic effect, the artist was injured, but despite this, he showed true professionalism and continued the performance.
