Isaac Herzog congratulated Ilham Aliyev

President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:
"Your Excellency.
It is a great honor for me to convey to you and the people of Azerbaijan my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of your country's Independence Day. The people of Israel join me in celebrating the friendly relations between our countries.
Our strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, which serves as a beacon of stability for both Israel and our region, is highly valued in Jerusalem. You have prioritized efforts to achieve peace in the region, which has transformed Azerbaijan into an important platform for dialogue and diplomacy.
Under your leadership, Azerbaijan has become a shining example of economic progress and prosperity. Your country is considered an excellent model of religious tolerance and understanding, where all segments of society live in harmony. Indeed, at a time when antisemitism is spreading throughout the world, Azerbaijan is a bright example of harmonious coexistence.
I will always remember the meetings held by Mrs. Michal and myself during our visit to your beautiful country, and during my presidency, I am committed to developing a solid foundation of friendship for further expansion of bilateral relations. There are many opportunities to achieve our common goals, including such crucial areas as security, innovation, energy, and trade.
As you celebrate the Year of Constitution and Sovereignty, know that the State of Israel rejoices in your successes and achievements.
On this significant day, I am very pleased to once again convey sincere congratulations and wishes for continued well-being and prosperity to the Republic of Azerbaijan and its people."
