Joint Communiqué on Combating Islamophobia Adopted in Baku

Following the international scientific conference "Islamophobia: Exposing Prejudices, Destroying Stigmas" held in Baku, a Joint Communiqué was adopted.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the document was read by the Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations (CAIR) Farid Shafiyev.

During the two-day event, participants discussed gender issues in the context of Islamophobia, prejudices entrenched against Muslim women, including in universities, and called for their inclusion in the peace and security agenda, as well as for expanding women's freedom and related social programs.

The two-day international scientific conference on "Islamophobia in Focus: Exposing Bias, Destroying Stigmas" continues in Baku.
As Report informs, the event, organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism and the Center for Analysis of International Relations, is dedicated to the third anniversary of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.
