Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan practiced joint operations during exercises

Command-staff exercises were held as part of the joint military drills "Strength of Unity – 2026," conducted with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

During the exercises, conducted with the aim of improving the staff activities of the participating units, including the commanders' decision-making and unit management skills, measures were carried out for the deployment and positioning of headquarters in designated areas, camouflage, and organization of operations.

In accordance with the scenarios envisioned during the drills, at the "Gizilgaya" training center in the Khojavend district and the "Karabakhlar" training center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as at the "Boyuk-Zira" training ground in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, commanders carried out tasks involving the assessment and analysis of the evolving situation, as well as decision-making.

During the exercises, the main focus was on enhancing the effectiveness of interaction between the military personnel of the participating countries in the joint execution of assigned tasks.
