Zelensky will hold a phone call with Trump
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a telephone conversation with American leader Donald Trump today, March 19. The day before, Trump spoke with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Ukrainian media, Zelensky announced this at a press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
"Today I will have contact with President Trump. We will discuss the details today. I think, details of the next steps. We had a really good meeting of our teams. I believe everything was going right, if it weren't for Russia, which is always unhappy when something goes right," he said.
According to Zelensky, he and Trump will discuss the details of the next steps to resolve the war in Ukraine.
The head of state added that he also expects to hear from Trump the details of his conversation with Putin.
