Zelensky: We hope that the US will support the proposal for an Easter ceasefire

Ukraine hopes that the US will support the proposal for an Easter ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Ukrainian media, this was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"And I hope that the United States will remain resolute and help convince Russia to join a trilateral meeting and make peace. And I said this yesterday, and I repeat it today: we proposed a ceasefire for the Easter holidays. We hope that the United States will support it. And we are waiting for a response from Russia," he noted.

On March 30, Zelensky stated that Ukraine supports any formats for ending the war provided the country's sovereignty is protected, as well as any ceasefire format, in particular, for the Easter holidays.
