Trump: Turkey Will Get F-35

Turkey will receive fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets, U.S. President Donald Trump announced, TASS reports.

"Turkey will get the F-35," he said at a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during the alliance's summit in Ankara.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier stated that he expects a positive decision from the U.S. on the F-35 fighter jets following negotiations with Trump in Ankara, which took place on Tuesday evening.
