Trump spoke with Zelensky before talking with Putin

US and Ukrainian Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation.

Trump had previously said that he would call Zelensky after speaking with Putin.

TSN, citing sources, writes that Trump and Zelensky discussed steps that would help resolve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. According to the TV channel, the presidents agreed to call each other again after Trump speaks with Putin.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said that Trump plans to personally inform about the results of telephone conversations with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. "You will hear personally from the president, or I will come out to you after these calls are finished," she said at a briefing.
