Trump made an unexpected statement about Russia and Ukraine

US President Donald Trump stated that he feels disappointment towards both Russia and Ukraine, as the parties have not yet reached agreements on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
Speaking to journalists at the White House, he emphasized:
"I am very disappointed with Russia. But Ukraine has also disappointed me. I believe an agreement could have been reached. It is extremely important to end the bloodshed."
According to Trump, both sides lose five to six thousand people weekly as a result of the hostilities. The majority of casualties are military personnel, however there are also civilians among the dead - including those killed by missile strikes.
"Imagine what it's like to live in a house, knowing that a missile could hit it in the evening. It's terrible. Living in such conditions is a real ordeal," he added.
