Trump made a statement about aid to Ukraine

The United States is no longer spending money on Ukraine. This was stated by American President Donald Trump, according to RIA Novosti.

"We are not paying Ukraine any money. Now we are not losing any money. We are selling weapons to NATO because NATO has agreed, thanks to me, to increase [defense] spending to 5%," he said.

The day before, Trump announced that the US and EU had reached an agreement according to which European countries will pay 100% of the cost of all military equipment. The head of the White House emphasized that most of the weapons will go to Ukraine. The US plans to spend the money received from Europe on its defense companies. Trump noted that such a deal should have been made with Europe three years ago.
