Thousands of migrants to be deported from Moscow
In Moscow, during the second stage of the operational-preventive operation "Illegal-2025," over 12 thousand violations of migration legislation were identified. As a result of the inspections, a decision was made to expel more than 1.3 thousand foreign citizens.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Russian media, this was announced by the head of the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Vladimir Vasenin.
According to him, police officers identified over 12 thousand violations, of which more than 8.3 thousand foreigners were held administratively liable for non-compliance with entry and exit rules, and 1.3 thousand - for violating residence rules.
Inspections were carried out in public places of the capital - in cafes, hostels, and construction sites. Vasenin noted that more than 1 thousand migrants were held liable for violations of labor activity regulations, and over 1.4 thousand cases of illegal employment of foreigners were identified against employers.
During the operation, 155 people who were wanted were also identified: 21 on federal and 134 on international cases. Measures provided by law were taken against all of them.
As a result of the activities, the decision on administrative expulsion was made regarding 2.7 thousand foreign citizens, of which more than 1.3 thousand were placed in a Temporary Detention Center. 803 people were forcibly expelled across the state border, 43 were deported, and entry into Russia was banned for 6 thousand foreigners.
