The White House has published Trump's peace plan for Gaza

The White House published a "full-fledged" 20-point plan by American leader Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza.

The Gaza proposal involves an immediate cessation of the conflict and withdrawal of Israeli troops, as well as a freeze on hostilities in exchange for the release of hostages.

The head of the Washington administration gave 72 hours for the release of hostages after Israel accepts the proposed agreement. "After all hostages are released, Israel must release 250 life-sentenced prisoners and 1,700 Gaza residents detained after October 7, 2023," according to the document.

It is noted that the US will work with Arab and international partners to create temporary International Stabilization Forces for Gaza. Trump's plan also involves creating a special economic zone in the sector, where preferential conditions will apply for participating countries.

The document also provides amnesty for HAMAS members who agree to disarm and peaceful coexistence. Members of the group wishing to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries. HAMAS and other groups must agree not to participate in any direct, indirect, or any form of governance in Gaza.

Gaza's governance will be temporarily carried out under the leadership of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian Committee responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functioning of public services and municipalities for Gaza residents. This committee will consist of Palestinians and international experts, under the supervision and control of a new international transitional body - the "Peace Council," which will be headed by the US President.

It is emphasized that Trump's plan excludes occupation or annexation of the enclave by Israel, as well as forced relocation of Gaza residents.
