The son of the last Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, has appealed to Trump
The eldest son of the last Iranian Shah, Reza Pahlavi, has appealed to US President Donald Trump to be prepared to intervene in the situation in Iran to help participants of mass protests.
He wrote about this on the social network X.
According to him, the Iranian authorities intend to use the shutdown of internet and communication means to suppress protests and violence against demonstrators.
"Mr. President, this is an urgent and pressing call for your attention, support, and action," Pahlavi wrote.
He noted that the day before, millions of Iranians took to the streets despite the use of force by security forces, and now face a complete information blockade.
"No internet. No landlines," he emphasized.
