# The Largest Shark of the Atlantic Was Spotted Off the Coast of Canada

A huge white shark, registered as the largest individual inhabiting the Atlantic Ocean, has been spotted off the coast of Canada. This is reported by Daily Mail.

According to the publication, the predator's movements are being tracked using a special sensor installed on its back. The device transmits signals only when the shark's fins appear above the water surface.

Recently, the sensor gave a signal near the Labrador Peninsula, which is located off the northern part of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in Canada.

The shark's length is 427 centimeters, weight is about 750 kilograms, and its age is estimated at approximately 30 years.

It is noted that this predator was previously seen in January near the coast of the American state of Florida.
