Tehran gave a response to Washington

Iran and the United States are still far from signing a final peace agreement, but at the same time the parties have reached agreement on most issues.

As reported by Tasnim, this was stated by the official spokesperson of the Islamic Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei.

"It is true that agreement has been reached on most of the issues under discussion, but no one can claim that this means a ceasefire will be signed soon," he said.

According to Baghaei, the negotiation process is complicated by frequent changes in the U.S. position.
