Putin reacted to Trump's peace plan
US President Donald Trump's peace plan was discussed before the meeting in Alaska.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to RBC, this was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"During the discussion, the American side asked us to make certain compromises," he said.
During the negotiations, Moscow confirmed that it agrees with the peace proposals, noted the head of the Russian state. However, after the negotiations in Alaska, there was a pause from the American side due to Ukraine's rejection of the plan proposed by Trump.
Putin suggested that this is why a "modernized plan" with 28 points appeared. He emphasized that Russia has this plan.
"I believe that it can also be used as the basis for a final peace settlement. But this text is not being discussed with us in detail," said the President of the Russian Federation.
