Putin made a decision to create a buffer zone along the border with Ukraine

Russia has begun creating a security buffer zone on the border with Ukraine. This was announced by President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with government members, TASS reports.
According to the head of state, the decision to form the zone has already been made, and now the Armed Forces are carrying out the corresponding tasks.
Putin also emphasized the importance of restoring affected territories in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions. The priorities are returning residents to their homes, rebuilding destroyed facilities, as well as restoring transportation, industry, agriculture, and supporting local businesses.
