Part of a building collapsed in Istanbul, residents evacuated the building

In Istanbul's Güngören district, the first floor of a five-story building partially collapsed for an unknown reason.

According to TRT Haber, after the collapse, the residents evacuated the building on their own.

Firefighters, police, ambulance crews, and municipal workers were dispatched to the scene.

After an inspection of the building was carried out, the residents were evacuated for safety reasons, and the building was sealed off. Protective barriers were set up around it.
