Moscow parks are closing due to an approaching storm

Due to worsening weather conditions in Moscow, the administrations of the capital's parks have decided to temporarily close.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Russian media, management has suspended visitor access to the territory and canceled all planned events.
Similar safety measures have been taken by the administrations of "Fili" Park, "Krasnaya Presnya" Park, and Gorky Park.
Due to strong winds, the operation of the "Air Tram" cable car at VDNKh has also been suspended. The attraction will not function until weather conditions improve. Meanwhile, the "Sun of Moscow" Ferris wheel at VDNKh continues to operate normally.
According to the forecast of Evgeny Tishkovets, an expert from the "Phobos" weather center, on Friday, March 14, Moscow will be hit by a storm with a magnitude of 9 points. The specialist warned that the peak intensity of the bad weather is expected from 15:00 to 18:00. Wind gusts may reach speeds of 22 meters per second, with possible precipitation in the form of rain. Due to the unfavorable weather conditions, a "yellow" danger level has been declared in the Russian capital, which will remain in effect until 22:00 on Friday.
