Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister detained

Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, businessman Haji Hajiyev, and several high-ranking employees of the National Security Committee (KNB) have been detained.

As BAKU.WS reports, this information was confirmed to orda.kz by sources in law enforcement agencies.

Nurtleu was seized at his home; the day before, he had returned from the SCO summit in China. Searches were conducted at both the minister's and Hajiyev's properties. The names of the KNB employees are being clarified.
