It has become known when the suspect in Kirk's murder will be charged
Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the murder of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will be charged on Tuesday, and more information about the investigation will be released at that time. This was reported to NBC by Utah Governor Spencer Cox.
"Much more will be known on Tuesday when charges are filed. Currently, evidence is being gathered, and friends and people from the suspect's circle are being interviewed," he clarified.
The assassination attempt on Kirk took place on September 10. That day, the activist was speaking at a university campus in Utah. During the event, he was shot from a distance of about 800 meters and was hit in the neck. The man was hospitalized, but doctors were unable to help him.
A few days later, law enforcement officers detained the suspect, who turned out to be 22-year-old student Tyler Robinson. The young man was turned in by his father, who had worked in the police for 27 years. It is known that the suspect disliked Kirk's political views. He has not admitted his guilt.
